Travel Review: La Mucchia (Italy)

My husband, 2 teens, my daughter & her fiance all stayed at La Mucchia this past summer vacation for 2 weeks. It was a wonderful place & we did not want to leave!

The restored farmhouse is right outside of Cortona & was a perfect base for exploring Tuscany & Umbria. The house was so comfortable with the charm of history, but all the modern conveniences. Modern bathrooms, comfortable beds, & all the sports channels that my 17 year old son could want! The absolute BEST part of staying at La Mucchia were the owners, Uri & Quiren. Anytime we had questions they were always there to help us get around & introduce us to all the wonderful places to eat in the area. They were warm & welcoming & made our stay there very special. We have told all our friends about La Mucchia & my husband is already planning on when we are going back!
